How to make weekday dates more romantic

Weekday dates are probably the hardest to plan because they require more attention to the little details that make it perfect. The greatest impediment when trying to take a woman out for a weekday date is her schedule, especially if she has a job or other responsibilities which can make timing difficult.

But it’s not impossible, all you need to do is to concentrate on the following details and everything will be alright.

Why not earlier?

Going out for dinner on a Thursday night might not be your best solution. By the time you finish with it, it will be somewhere around 11 p.m., assuming that you went out at 9 for example. She will tell you that she has to go home and prepare for the next day, leaving you only with the desire of spending more time together. Try scheduling the date at 7 p.m. and try to watch the alcohol intake; it’s not fun to be hangover at work.

A relaxing date

That midweek stress has been piling up, you both might be really tired and could use a break. A relaxing date is the right answer; maybe a beach picnic, a walk in the park, or an evening on a terrace by a lake; anything you think she might enjoy. It is lovely to go out once in a while and just relax, have a cup of tea and go home feeling amazing because you’ve just recharged your batteries for the weekend.

Spontaneity is key

Here is a good example of what you can do: if she’s been thinking about changing something around the house or refinishing some furniture, why don’t you grab some take out and some tools you might need for the job and when you go pick her up, tell her that instead of going out, you should do this together. She will appreciate you more for your initiative and for how attentive you are with her.

During the day

Do something different once in a while and go have a nice lunch somewhere quiet, where you can fully enjoy each other’s company.

It doesn’t matter what you choose for a weekday date as long as you make it special for both of you. There’s nothing better in the world than being in a wonderful place with a romantic atmosphere and the woman you love.
