As you already might know, many guys approach women with really pathetic pickup lines that only make them roll their eyes and walk away. Asking her if she has a boyfriend, or if she would like you to buy her a drink is so common and overused that it can no longer work. No to mention the lamest “strategies” of approaching a woman by simply touching her in a club or telling her stuff like “I would like to take you out sometime, sweetheart”.

Women are already sick and tired of these ‘techniques” so you are right, rather than saying stuff like these, you would better say nothing at all. However, there are some tricks you can use to make her interested. For instance, if you are in a club you can ask her opinion on something and this is how you start a conversation. Once you get her to answer you, then the conversation has already started and you do not have to make it very long. After 5 minutes you can excuse yourself because you have to leave with your friends, but as you turn around ask her for her e-mail address.

Telling a woman something no other guy has ever told her before will definitely make her interested. You can also ask her if she is single, instead of asking if she has a boyfriend. It is more direct and she will be surprised to be asked such a question. If you make her understand you are a confident man that always gets to the point, she will not resist you.
