The question you’ve asked is applicable on other matters as well, because it is all about when and if it becomes alright to do the sweet things for women such as taking them out, buying them gifts or giving them flowers.
Most men want to be generous and treat women very well because they believe that if they do nice things for the girl they like, they will also receive thoughtful things from her, but the problem appears when men overreact and give her the impression that she owns them.
If you want to do wonderful things for the woman you are interested in, make sure that they matter and have a great impact on her. Women are more impressed by things which don’t cost much money such as you cooking for her, giving her a massage, etc.
As stated before, it is not a problem doing sweet things for her, but you don’t have to shower her with gifts and favors and become predictable.
