I met this wonderful girl whom I want to take out on a date, but her friend does not really like me or most of the guys that hit on her for that matter. How to ask her out without her friend interfering between us?

All you have to do is get her e-mail address before her friend even knows what is happening. Sometimes friends can be overprotective and get way too involved in people’s life. However, she has definitely more influence over the girl you like than you can possibly have, so do not talk trash about her because you will only prove she was right to disagree with you dating her friend.
Be confident enough to go and ask her for her contact information and then write her an e-mail to ask her for a cup of tea. She will feel comfortable enough since she will not feel any pressure as when you take her on a date. If everything works out fine, you can also take her on a date and by that time, not even her friend can convince her not to go.
