How do I find a match?
Going to parties or bars was never my favorite activity even if I am a college student in my senior year. I realized that I don’t have a lot in common with most of my friends regarding places to hang out and favorite activities. Where could I meet some people who share my interests?

Andy, this is a great topic. You have very little in common with your close friends and a lot in common with your distant friends. However, you say that you don’t feel the need to be closer to those who share your interests.
You’ve got the solutions to avoid a possible isolation:
1. Relax and accept your good friends for who they are and what they like.
2. Start to socialize more with those you haven’t felt the need of getting close to.
3. Get involved in a new group.
If you are not the type of guy who hangs out in bars and goes to parties, go to more quiet scenes where you will meet and get to know people with shared interests. Find yourself a new social network. Universities are diverse and offer plenty of opportunities to socialize and meet new people.
