I don’t think that it’s necessary to hide anything about yourself from a woman, but you have to take into account that attraction is not something rational but physical and emotional.
Most men don’t understand this point and prefer to talk about boring stuff such as football and politics afraid that if they talk more profoundly about themselves they will scare the woman away. It’s a classic mistake which rarely brings them a second date.
The point of acting evasive when you are in a conversation with a woman is not hiding things from her, but to make her curious and interested. If you manage to balance your speech right, she will ask you many questions for getting more details about your life.
I am something like a weird guy, too. I have some geeky passions like collecting fossils, chess and building computers, but I couldn’t care less if a woman finds out about these.
All that you love doing or have an interest in, it’s part of yourself so you shouldn’t hide anything from a woman.
