Picking up a girl in a club
I do not consider myself as a guy with confidence issues. I am always determined enough to go to a girl I like and strike up a conversation. However, at some point I find myself asking her the same boring questions most of men usually ask just to keep the conversation going. What can I possibly ask her so as not to make her feel like she is interrogated?

My friend, there is nothing easier to do in this situation than ending the conversation. You should not try to have a date the first time you meet her. Ok, you like her and you want to see her again, but keep the conversation brief and then excuse yourself saying that you have to go back to your friends. However, before you do it, ask her for her e-mail and tell her you would like to talk to her again.
Public spaces are not the best ones to have a conversation so as long as you already approached her and you decide you would like to see her again, keep it brief and get her contact information. As you already said (and I am glad you realized that), nobody likes being interrogated when they first meet someone, or in any other case for that matter, so do not make the mistake of asking her the same dull questions everybody does.
I can guarantee you that you have higher chances to hear of her again if you try this strategy. It is easier, it saves you from awkward situations and she will most likely be interested in seeing you again because she does not really know anything about you.
Good luck!
