Men have the tendency to corner the women with whom they want to start a serious relationship and try to convince her right away of becoming exclusive. This is a very bad idea because you don’t know each other well enough yet and before getting involved it’s always better to get to know her.
Second of all, if she is the type of woman who would agree to get into a serious relationship with you really soon, chances are that she has some issues and the last thing you need is a clingy woman who needs a man to feel complete.
If you want to begin a relationship with a girl, it is best to start by doing some romantic gestures once in a while. Some flowers and a card is all you need to get your message across and be careful not to become a wuss. Things like “I was thinking about you” or other kind of lovely talk must also be used carefully, especially if she is an independent woman.
Last but not least, you can tell her how you really feel about her. Eventually, you will have to do it if you want a serious relationship.
