I met this woman on an online dating website and we have been talking for a while until I told her we should meet in person. She was pretty reluctant to my invitation saying that we do not know each other so well yet and maybe we should wait. What can I do?

You can send her a funny e-mail, or just reassure her that she has nothing to worry about. Tell her to meet in a public space where she would feel comfortable. Try to make it as casual as possible so that she doesn’t feel pressured.
It is normal for women to be reluctant to meet a stranger even if they have been talking to him for a long time. It is one thing to talk online and a totally different thing to meet in real life. Everyone can pretend to be someone else in the virtual worlds and this is why she is cautious.
All you can do is to make it sound like it is the most natural thing in the world and she does not have to worry about anything. You can even tell her you can meet for half an hour and she can leave whenever she wants.
