She thinks I'm a player
Sometimes when I approach a woman she asks me if I am a player. What can I possibly answer without excusing myself or denying it?

Once a woman asks you if you are a player, you can deny it as much as you want; she will think anyway that you are one, even if that is not the case. Therefore, the only thing you can possibly do is not to give her a direct answer.
You can ask her if she is and this is why she is asking you or you can tell her something funny like “Yes, I play sports? Which one do you like?”. As long as you do not try to excuse yourself or deny it, she will just give up asking you, especially if you have a great comeback making it look like she is to blame for asking such a question.
Women are sometimes afraid of being played and this is why it is hard for them to trust you. They have been maybe disappointed many times and they just want to avoid it. On the other side, it is possible that she may have seen you approaching other girls and in this case you definitely are a player in her eyes, so do not ever try to deny it.
