I have never really been the confident type of man, but I started to realize that unless I do something, I will never find the perfect woman for me, so my question for you is: what attitude should a guy have to be successful with women?

The attitude you should have in what regards women should be the same as with the one regarding other aspects of your life. You should never give up!
No matter what it is that you want so bad, never give up. Take things slow and think about what you really want and need. Then take action. You can make your life a whole lot easier if you focus on a certain goal and fulfill it and only afterwards chase after the next one.
We are responsible for what we get in life so if you want a certain woman, it is up to you to make her fall for you. Have you tried dating online? There are lots of women also looking for their other half. What about taking on a hobby which is mostly attracting women? These are among the most common and simple ways to meet women.
Always remember that a confident man is an attractive man. So no matter what you decide you need, just go out there and take it.
